Overview - Im a senior creative with over 6 years experience.
What I do – I’m a hybrid creative; which means I disagree that creatives must only be a copywriter, or an art director. I’m highly conceptual and I can articulate my ideas in a number of compelling ways. I’m captivated by game-changing technology and I’m always on the lookout for the next big thing. For the past five years I’ve created campaigns for fighter jets, submarines, blockbuster movies and even non-profits.
Where I’ve come from – I started my career freelancing in Ireland, then moved to London. I joined entertainment advertising agency, spinnaker London, before making the jump to Saatchi & Saatchi pro, at Saatchi pro, I have moved into a senior position, where I have managed my own team of designers and conceptual creatives. I have managed, lead and won several large scale pitches.
Where I’m going – I believe that great advertising no longer needs to look like advertising. The world has changed. I believe that to prosper in an uncertain future, creative work must be fundamentally platform agnostic. Creative work must communicate, not preach. It must resonate, not broadcast. I also believe in the power of advertising to do good; to make a positive change in the world, in addition to selling product and increasing revenue.
