About me
Suki was born and raised in a city in south China. Her work is whimsical, grounded in a style that is sedated, sometimes surreal, but always deeply emotional. When creating her art, she often draws on those old-time memories that she packs within herself. For Suki, the recollection of intimate moments, all those warm fuzzy feelings, and the people who’ve came in and out in her life are sources of her artistic inspirations. sukillustrator@gmail.com Prints available upon request. Curiosity and sensibility keep driving her to catch the details in daily life, as well as the subtle connection between people. Her works are derived from her conscious life imitation. They’re mostly narrative-driven, aiming to evoke audience’s emotional response with simplicity. She also enjoys thinking independently, which continuously illuminates her to generate unique ideas. Suki feels lucky to be one of those people who carry creativity and curiosity along their journey. For her, art is not only work, but also an aspect of her personality, and a perspective towards life. While continuing on her own multi-media experiments, Suki is open for opportunities to work on other interesting projects.

  • Productivity
ProductivityOne of my friends in architectural school turned her bathroom into a studio, wishing to be more productive in a narrower space. I was amused by her story and did this drawing for fun.
  • Living Alone
Living AloneA girl's party when living alone, with everything she needs in a narrow space. She's exploring the magic realistic world with her fantastic beasts. The ringing phone is ignored, and the elves are hiding from the acid music. Nobody knows whether she took the weird dessert or happy pills. But look at the Hannya in the reflection, there seems to be something more than pure happiness in her lonely life.
