I am an outgoing and intrinsically motivated individual who has a love for magazines, both online and print. I am thorough in my approach to research for assignments, I collaborate well with others. My projects involved writing articles, editing, creating magazines and zines, making artefacts, photography and content design for websites. Throughout my studies, professional and freelance work, I have become competent in publishing, sales techniques, creative thinking as well as developing an appreciation of an array of art and design fields. It has been a very successful night where I was able to make £798 net profit. One of the artists whom I had selected for my event, Master Peace, was recently picked by Nick Grimshaw for the ‘Radio1 Introduces’ slot.
My main responsibilities included stock replenishment, visual merchandising, working towards achieving KPIs such as selling key stocks and loyalty schemes, operating the till and handling large sums of money, conducting regular stock takes, promoting the brand and its products , meeting and greeting customers, ensuring that customers are informed about the products that we sell such as the materials and techniques used in manufacturing and the stories behind the product design. Key achievements: Being the best selling associate in multiple consecutive weeks. Having been selected to be on the internal communications board three times for creating the best selling sentences, which were used as part of the internal promotions for Swarovski. These were sentences that I wrote which were inspired by the products that were being launched. After starting as a Christmas temp, I was able to impress the store manager with my excellent customer service, friendly and approachable manner, eye for detail, work ethic and being a great team player that she has offered me a permanent role as a sales associate at the end of my temporary contract. Key achievements: Having been noticed for my keen eye for design and detail that I was offered extra responsibilities for store visual merchandising in addition to my sales associate role.
