Hard-working visionary, designer and ideas generator. I co-founded Jota-Kena, an ethical luxury brand specializing in outerwear made from denim. The brand has received Positive Luxury’s prestigious Butterfly Mark for a companywide commitment to sustainability, alongside brands such as Louis Vuitton, Loewe and Cecilie Bahsen (see: https://www.positiveluxury.com/brand/jota-kena/). At the heart of the brand is our commitment to giving back and community upliftment. I take on the roles of Designer and Creative Director for Jota-Kena. I am also responsible for the company's brand development. In addition to this, I do freelance Styling, Creative Direction and Design for other brands. Before establishing Jota-Kena I independently traded on the stock market for two years (and acquired Portuguese as a third language). Previous experience includes working in the Luxury Goods Industry (in PR, business consulting, and sales/ marketing).

Our brand started out designing collections for retailers and then pivoted to luxury denim in 2018 (dedicating 3years to product development including relocating to İstanbul for a year to set up production with our incredible team there).
