Lately, the multitalented Zimon has been promoting his fantastic poetry collection To Die With Horses Wouldn’t Be So Bad, and also directed a documentary on Elton John.14
- Seeing in Colour: Ace & Tate x gal-demFor AW18, we’ve collaborated with London-based award-winning magazine gal-dem – a young media powerhouse that’s comprised solely of women and non-binary people of colour. Our project, Seeing In Colour, engages with four creative personalities and learns about some of the assumptions they’ve had to face as a result of their skin colour. As a first generation British Nigerian, he is deeply inspired by traditional Nigerian parables, and his furniture takes on new meanings depending on how it is used or positioned. Eyewear for every side of you. Mona is a vocalist in hardcore band ‘Vile Act’ and a full-time social worker. An active anti fascist, voice for human rights, and practicing Muslim during the day. Oh, and she also holds two degrees: one in social work and another in neuroscience.12
