This role requires me to read scripts for BBC Films, write detailed reports about the quality of the story and writing and pass judgement on whether it should be looked at further, the writer should be tracked or if we will not be accepting it for further consideration.

    The Brit ListThe Brit List
With 15 industry nominations, in 2021 I topped The Brit List and have the most industry nominations for the best unproduced script in the UK. Out of nearly 300 script titles recommended by the industry, 18 received the minimum number of votes to make it on to the list. UK Film & TV companies are invited to recommend the best unproduced scripts they have seen in the past year. If a script receives a minimum number of recommendations it will be featured on the Brit List. The object is to provide our industry with a wide platform for these writers and their scripts, even though there is an inevitable ranking due to the number of recommendations a screenplay may receive.
