- Tattoos as CollectablesThis was an illustration project that was part of my dissertation. The dissertation is about the motives for collecting with case studies on tattoos and designer toys. I wanted to create an illustrative piece of art that expressed my findings and helped to back up the text. It was done using black Sharpie’s on a 18 inch Mega Munny from Kidrobot.
- D&AD - MonotypeThis was my response to the 2015 Monotype D&AD brief. The brief was to create a typographically led campaign to promote a retrospective screening for a director of our choice. I chose Jeff Tremaine director of the Jackass films as I thought it would be interesting to try and represent his films through type as they are not just another hollywood blockbuster action film. The low budget documentary style appealed to me and thought it was a good theme to run with for the designs. I created a series of of posters that advertise each of the three jackass films that gradually become more distressed and destroyed.
- The Big Idea - MetaphorThis project involved being given a list a words to choose from and make a project around it. I chose the word metaphor and decided to create a series of Illustrations of metaphors for being intoxicated that could be used as celebration cards for all occasions. I created the illustrations by drawing the design and vectorising them using illustrator.
