Projects
- THE WALLACE COLLECTION - The Winking CavelierThe collection’s most famous resident is Frans Hals’ Laughing Cavelier, a Baroque masterpiece who was named as such by the Victorian press despite him showing only a smirk. Inspired by the character’s cheeky demeanor, I decided to let him evolve and make him wink directly at viewers, by turning the image in to a ‘flip’ lenticular. This was then applied to an array of merchandise that made up part of our range displayed in the Wallace Collection’s newly designed shop.
- SCIENCE MUSEUM - Shake BarThe Wonderlab Shake Bar was a collaboration with Benugo and the Science Museum. The brief was to take the existing cafe’s structure and give it a makeover that was more in keeping with the aesthetics and palette of the new Statoil Gallery. We created something between a laboratory and a pumping station for devotees of all things dairy. I helped design the look, from the ‘shaking’ neon sign, coloured piping, signage and fake pressure guages to the scientific beakers that serve as storage containers.
- GRAYSON PERRY - Various ProductsSome of my favourite products that I've designed, art-worked, curated and helped produce for Grayson Perry whilst working with Kit Grover. We work directly with Grayson to produce high quality, bespoke merchandise that reflects his irreverent take on contemporary culture for many of the major galleries and museum around the world. Below are products made for clients such as Serpentine, Tate and MCA Australia.
- TATE - Art SetsWe produced these art sets exclusively for Tate in collaboration with Europe’s leading art material manufacturers Da Vinci and Schminke. I designed the foam cut-out arrangement of the materials, the abstract but practical plastic palettes and graphic wrap and chose the vibrantly coloured, utalitarian cases.
