About me
I am a graphic designer who has worked for a number of creative organisations across Central London since graduating with a 2.1 in 2012. My work covers a broad range from branding and marketing campaigns to publications and physical installations. I like to involve myself in the exploration and use of handcraft and tactile effect mediums as they are wonderful ways of achieving effective audience interaction. Although digital is also a major part of my design involvement that I have a deep passion for.

  • Embrace Mobile Video Games 2013 publication
    Embrace Mobile Video Games 2013 publication'Embrace Mobile Video Games' demonstrates a celebration of video gaming, but it's visual identity focuses on the 8bit era to give that distinctive retro nostalgia that gamers have always appreciated. This simplicity of 8bit design works well with the constraints of laying out the content (infographics, copy, artwork etc.). Collaborating with the Marketing Team at Velti, the booklet was unveiled in time for the gaming industries universally known Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June, where copies were distributed. For the main identity that carries the flow of the book, I used the 'Google Local' icon as a representation of mobile to collaborate with the Pac-Man icon.

    D&AD - e.on playing cardsA D&AD brief where e.on targeting the "Generation Y' audience be more efficient and considerate of their energy use. I wanted to integrate a "Green" educational twist with a playful angle into standard playing cards which could connect with the younger demographic i.e. student.

    'i'' newspaper campaigni newspaper were aiming to attract more of the student demographic. I provided a weekly competition on an extension of their website, where anyone wanting to get into journalism could post their own article for a chance for it to be published in their Saturday issue, all decided upon by the editors at i.
  • Winchester Map & Guide
    Winchester Map & GuideI wanted to design a more original and less formal map, which would make Winchester stand out in the minds of tourists. I used semi-transparent layers of information in sections that could be integrated or combined with each other to give a great overall effect.
  • 'The Muse' soul venue
    'The Muse' soul venueThe inspiration I got to create a fictional soul music/ bar venue promotion was primarily taken from an old Greek style classical portico that overlooked a river, forming an extended world beneath it. The pillars of the portico laid the foundation for the brands identity. The brand is defined by the logo which showcases the pillared structure of the hall and stage as an audio equalizer. I expanded it into several supporting formats, all of which identifies with the down to earth nature of soul music. All the designs were monochrome to capture traditional elegance but with a new twist for an upmarket audience.

    DRAFTED Magazine issuesA free, monthly fashion and lifestyle publication for both men and women. It is an interactive magazine bringing online and print together by the utilisation of the ‘Blippar’ app. Responsibilities - Layout management across a large selection of spreads - including celebrity cover features, beauty shoots and one off editorials and so on. Also designing titles and an experience of working with the 'Blippbuilder' application.

    Throughout the time at the agency consisting of design/branding specialists involved in projects from web to print, I branded a number of start up and event organisations e.g. 3rd world product delivery service, councils.
