    HairshareHairshare was in-house project worked on during my time at BY Creative. For this project, I was the lead designer and coordinator of the design and development team that undertook the project. There was an already existing phase 1 of the website build and design prior to me working with the company, however, my initial responsibility was conceptualising designs to be approved by the senior designer. Down the line, I was given the task of ensuring deadlines and tasks were being assigned and met accordingly. This had to be efficiently as we had to coordinate with the design team in the Phillippines futhering my abilities in project coordination as I had to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high-quality standards.

    My main tasks included conceptualising and storyboarding digital advertising banners for NBCUniversal, running social media accounts, creating collateral for events and designing and creating leaflets, newsletters and other promotional material for clients. I produced distinctive visuals to form part of online ad campaigns across various digital distribution outlets which included iTunes, Amazon and Google Play for one of our clients, Universal, gaining familiarity with brand guidelines. UI design became a skill that grew exponentially on which is reflected on my website. I was also majorly in the delivery of assets involved using a combination of Photoshop CC and InDesign. For Html5 development, we used a sequence of GWD and JavaScript, working alongside our developers. The project was delivered on budget, to specification and on time for the client and third party.

    I started this course with the aims and objective to understand how businesses conduct themselves domestically and overseas in a way that increases positive awareness, competitive advantage and business growth. I used this experience I developed to specialise skills that enable me to work effectively across national borders where I learnt from leading industry experts and acclaimed academics, developing a detailed understanding of global practices and trends. For example, the use of Big Data to help crunch data in the aims to identify trends in customer behaviour to further increase customer satisfaction will be carried out mainly in the website. I explored international business from a number of perspectives, including economics, finance, strategy, supply chain, management, marketing across cultures and research methods.  These include communication, numeracy, graphics, multicultural team working, reflective learning and the ability to critically analyse complex business challenges to reach considered creative solutions. Experience came whereby Marketing and Supply Chain coordinating and project leadership were concerned giving me confidence and increasing my level of professionalism regarding presentations.
