Conscious Design and CurationAmsterdam, Netherlands
About me
Tuğçe Akbulut is a cross-disciplinary designer, a connector, and the founder of Cross Change. After pursuing a career as a spatial designer and as an art director for over 10 years, she started working with NGOs on social innovation and coordinated a social entrepreneurship incubation program for two years. Since then, she has been using her design skills to develop innovation programs, design both digital and physical spaces to experiment with the impact of design on social and environmental transformation. She has founded Cross Change, which designs impact-oriented creative projects, curates, and connects professionals to facilitate positive change. With one of the last projects that she developed in a collaboration with a Dutch architecture office, Pop Up Park İstanbul she expanded these experiments on to the public spaces. Tuğçe recently launched her curated bi-weekly newsletter named Cross Change Curated where you will witness how conscious design makes, triggers, and critiques positive change for a better society and planet. She is living and working in The Netherlands.
