About me
Hi! I am a producer and curator interested in using the creative arts for education and social change. I have previously worked to produce podcasts, exhibitions and festivals. I am currently interested in producing for film and television.
Projects
  • Burning the Village podcast
Burning the Village podcastI worked as a podcast producer and creative for 'CMN.' Over a period of months we created a podcast that focused on the issues faced by youths. The podcast typically looked at mental illness, the pandemic and social challenges. After script-writing, recording and editing, we held discussions with local leaders about the significance of the themes raised in the podcasts. This was a chance to work with fellow young creatives to use the medium of narrative storytelling for social change.
  • Degenerations: Museum of Youth Culture
Degenerations: Museum of Youth CultureI worked as a Curator with the Museum of Youth Culture. In this role I helped them in the creation of their 'Digital Youth Festival.' Part of my role included: acquiring artistic material, interviewing creatives, hosting discussion panels and writing for their website.
  • John Lewis Black History Month video
John Lewis Black History Month videoAs part of the work I did for Black history month, I was invited to record this video by John Lewis. In it, I discuss the importance of social awareness and my own appreciation of Black History Month.
