About me

Originally from Québec, Valéry completed her Masters in Interaction Design at Université Laval in Québec before moving to Edmonton, Alberta in 2002. She has since collaborated with global brands and agencies, providing illustration and graphic design services for a broad range of digital and print projects. She also teaches a variety of illustration and design related courses in the Visual Communication Design program at the University of Alberta and in the Bachelor of Design program at MacEwan University in Alberta, Canada.

  Delilah: My 1905 Alberta Avenue HomeIllustration created for the August 2019 issue of the Avenue Edmonton Magazine. The story is about a woman who describes her experience finding her forever home in a beautiful historical Edmonton neighbourhood.
• ATB Financial West Pointe branchTo bring ATB’s purpose of being more than a bank to life, Valérydesignwrks collaborated with Makespace. Together we developed a large-scale mural illustration. The piece interweaves life, work, and play while highlighting the benefit ATB offers to all Albertans. It serves as an enjoyable map for branch visitors to explore when they visit.
