Most up to date portfolio on my website; VMVMedia.com - I'm a self taught young creative, designer and marketing graduate, destined to contribute a versatile blend of skills to the ever changing media universe. The creative media industry is something I consider to be a sweet spot for all things that enthuse me. My interests are made up of a solid blend; a strong background in acedemic business and marketing theory, with a diligent developing skill in graphic design and all things tech.
Projects
- Dialectyx DingThis project was an entire top to bottom creation. I was part of the product development process from the beginning, working closely with the client to iron out the customer journey, promise and market positioning. This contributed greatly to how I came to shape the visual identity. The product is an online entrepreneur success platform that allows users to self audit their business ventures to minimise risk. The client had proven methodologies and existing businesses that needed to be well c
- HuelHuel, The Future of Food. With over 3 million meals sold, Huel is a nutritional supplement startup that aims to replace meals with a shake that provides all the nutrients necessary for your day. I was approached by this client for social media photography. They sent over some product, and I used the clean and minimal brand guidelines to shoot a whitespace inspired spread of images. On top of this, I also advised the client on how they can best maximise their new brand to entice new custome
- Salma's BakerySalma's Bakery is a local London business that hand makes exquisite baked treats with scientific precision. Ran and baked by a young couple, I wanted to ensure the entire brand identity design conveyed their core values whilst emulating an air of professionalism. I worked extremely closely with them and explained the various processes that are integral to getting noticed as a new business. I also built a landing page based site to plug the digital space [salmasbakery.com]. The colours used have a homegrown pastel retrograde ambience that contrasts with a minimal scientific typeface. Today, Salma's Bakery's goods is stocked at London university student union shops and sold at artisanal markets.
- Carolina WongThis was a studio shoot for an up and coming handbag designer. I worked with an art director and the client to devise a set design that embodied the theme of clean, simple and culture. Props were carefully selected based on the colours of the bags and morocco; the location the bags are sustainably produced. The shoot was ultimately done to gain shots for a new season lookbook that would be displayed in showrooms and handed to prospective retailers. I took the chosen photos and used the design theme of displacement to arrange the images in a particular way. The overall design of the look book possessed the Carolina Wong brand colour palette.
- The Luxury ShopperThe Luxury Shopper is a fashion concierge and personal shopping service that brings clients high demand and high end fashion goods from around the world. This type of service needed a strong brand recall in the format of some good customer relations. I designed a set of business cards and thank you cards to be given to new and existing clients of theirs. I worked very closely with the owner of TLS to ensure the brand guidelines were correct, whilst making way for new and innovative design trends to make an appearance, thus keeping the brand looking fresh. TLS don't make their own products, they sell large prestigious designer labels. It can be very easy for their branding to get lost in transaction. Having professional looking brand accessories will help them to stay present.
- Ingenious FoodsFoodery and Gourmosa are two separate FMCG food brands that are owned by the same client, Ingenious Foods. They make ready-to-go pots that prioritise healthy eating and explorative rich flavours. I work with the creative director to shoot cross platform social media posts ranging through videos, GIFs and still images. The work I do for Foodery and Gourmosa differs according to what they need. This challenges my creative versatility to keep coming up with new idea and concepts to execute.
