About me
I'm a creative writer from Sydney, Australia, with a goal to bring creativity, charm and wit to the frontline of content writing. In 2016 I founded my own business – heapswhitty Creative Communication – and I'm growing it into an ethical writing agency that positively impacts people and planet. My career has been colourful. While based in the UK, I've worked on creating engaging content in marketing and communication roles. I've collaborated with non-for-profits and fellow creatives, delivered an award-winning creative marketing project for a British university, given voice to a pioneering Sydney photography conference, and led content campaigns with big brands such as the Guardian, Virgin and FutureLearn. My goal is to unearth if clever content can carve a path for positive change and cultivate greater connection to the world around us. My business – heapswhitty – focuses on feel-good projects. We write insightful content for the Arts, education, conservation, wellbeing and travel sectors. We collaborate with established content agencies, ethical startups, educational organisations and creatives using a special combo of writing talent, marketing savviness and exceptional communication skills. Basically, I save people from gagging on gobbledygook!
