As a designer I like to indulge in all varieties of work, ranging from the simple to the complex. The past three years of studying BA (Hons) Graphic Design at Arts University Bournemouth has opened my creative mind, thinking not just of the visuals but looking deeper behind into the conceptual aspect of graphics. By learning new skills it has allowed me to create accurate visualisations of my ideas and represent them digitally and physically. This has only increased my interest in the digital aspect of designing.
Over the past year, I have been gaining experience by working on freelance and personal projects, as well as studying Graphic Design at the Arts University of Bournemouth.

- Open BankingThe future can be a daunting and scary thought, with technology becoming more advanced everyday. But Nationwide wants to build a future together and want to show what banking might soon become and show how technology could impact their lives for good. The future is ‘Open Banking’, the campaign and animation educates the public on the possibilities of what the future holds for banking and how it could affect them. - HyHypothyroidism, also known as underactive thyroid, is a condition where the thyroid gland does not create enough of a thyroid hormone called thyroxine. It is a life long condition and has many different symptoms including: depression, unexplained weight gain or difficulty losing weight, memory problems, fatigue and many others. Introducing ‘hy’, an app created to connect people with hypothyroidism together through the sharing of their stories. By connecting them together they can learn about the illness from each other and can start their healing process and can help other’s realise they are not alone. The app also includes a messaging page where they can talk to others suffering from the illness directly and gain knowledge on the disease. Along with several other features and helpful hints and tips.
- Design and EthicsCultural, social and political issues have made huge impact on design, advertising and the world around us. Within the book we recognise the key turning points in history that have formed iconic changes in design, since 1860. As a team our task was to design the publication and gather information about design and ethics within graphic design. Each of us focused on a period of history to research and produce a written piece that can form a publication. My chapter examined ethical issues around the world including 'The Suffragettes', the 'Russian Revolution and the 'Chinese Revolution'. Specifically examining how design was used to help, influence or even provoke people into action.
