I am an experienced copywriter, social media consultant and manager, and journalist. I am co-founder of UPPERCASE Media, a digital agency that works with companies and brands on copywriting, content and strategy, and social media management.
Our clients work in a range of sectors, including PR, law, healthcare, food and beverage, education, events and travel.
I am also an experienced journalist and editor, having worked in a number of capacities, including writer, sub-editor, online editor and social media editor, for local and national publications. My journalism specialism is in arts and culture, lifestyle, and food and drink. I am former online editor of Spectator Life and the Catholic Herald, and I continue to write for The Spectator, and my work has also appeared in The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, Time Out and more.
I am a playwright, too. My work has been performed in theatres including the Orange Tree, Theatre 503, and Soho Theatre. I am associate artist of Somerset-based Wassail Theatre, with my most recent play for the company being a musical version of Oedipus Rex, set in the world of pub darts.

- Viniv copywritingTogether with one other copywriter, I was hired by branding agency, We Are Delight, to create the copy for the website of Viniv, a company that gives people the opportunity to create their very own Bordeaux wine from scratch. The idea for the site was to tell the story of what customers will experience as Viniv winemakers, unfurling the entire journey, from picking the grapes to designing the labels for their bottles of wine. I worked to a specific brief that made clear the need for the copy to fully convey the rarefied nature of the Viniv experience and communicate plenty of detail, albeit in concise, elegant terms.
- Spectator Life websiteAs online editor of Spectator Life, I was responsible for running the website and all associated social media channels (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram). Spectator Life website is an off-shoot of The Spectator, covering food and drink, entertainment and culture, sport, politics, lifestyle, fashion and travel.
