I currently work as a Digital & 3D Experiential Designer for Outernet Global. I have excellent skills in generating mockups for client pitches as well as conceptualising and modelling 3D experiential spaces. My passions and skills have also allowed me to start creating AR & VR content using a variety of different media to enhance the presentation of my work. I have been integral in a series of multi-million pound experiential activation's, including Universal Pictures domination of King's Cross St. Pancras for the launch of Jurassic World 2 in June 2018. Further to this I have experience in mentoring and nurturing young talent and I have also previously been invited back to my University, where I graduated with a 2:1, to give a talk and presentation on my career as a designer so far. I have experience working with a wide range of clients from lux fashion and beauty brands through to sport, media and entertainment. At Ivory I have been involved in designing a large Event for HP in Chicago and designing an exhibition stand for HPE in Barcelona. I was involved in the conceptual stages for both projects, modelling and producing quick renders to be presented to the client. Utilising my Sketchup and Vectorworks skills I managed to produce high quality presentation files showcasing the multitude of ideas our team produced whilst further enhancing my strong skill base.
Whilst freelancing at Kinnersley Kent Design I was tasked with designing and modelling a store front for a client in Dubai. Incorporating digital elements to the design enabled me to create a dynamic response to the clients brief as well as enhancing my strong Sketchup and Photoshop skills. I also spent a lot of time researching and resourcing material samples to create visual mood boards which were presented to the client along with my final renders.
I have recently been involved in a freelance role which provided me with the opportunity to work closely alongside the client and different council bodies. Whilst here I designed the lake house parking pad, enabling the client to meet local requirements to rent out their property.
My experience at Ivory Worldwide provided me with key insights into professional client contact etiquette whilst also providing me with valuable knowledge surrounding various computer softwares. Whilst at Ivory I was predominantly working within a small creative group preparing presentations for external clients.
Whilst working at Brinkworth Design I had a variety of responsibilities, including; face to face client contact, preparing and presenting presentations and meeting various deadlines at once. Working within a four man design team, I have enhanced my critical thinking and decision making processes to align with exterior views.
Whilst I was studying at Leeds Beckett University I was a student and course representative throughout my final three years, providing me with opportunities such as; being part of several interview panels for new tutors, representing my course at University wide meetings and interacting with high ranking external/internal personnel. Whilst studying the course it gave me excellent experience in prototyping as well as a plethora of computer software knowledge.
