I was lucky enough to be one of two female creatives who won the Publicis Lab competition in 2015. I worked as a Junior Art Director and Designer on client projects and pitches for Digitas Health Lifebrands and Publicis Life Brands with placements across both agencies, before signing a full time contract.
I joined Landor Associates as a member of the Hive, their intern thinktank. During my placement, I worked to create visual concepts and brand strategies for Landor's existing roster of clients and for pitch proposals. Contributing to the pitch that won Paramount Pictures as a new client was a very exciting highlight.
I was a member of the student design community, contributing art direction to the university magazine [Smiths], helping project manage the annual Design Ball, and finally helping build and exhibiting my final degree project as part of the 2014 BA Design show, entitled MATTER.
I worked as part of a creative pair to create a print advert for the NSPCC, answering the Cannes Young Lions competition brief 2015. The UK qualifying round was sponsored by The Guardian newspaper and had to be done within the time limit of 24 hours. We were very grateful to have been shortlisted. The competition entailed working within the very short timeframe in order to come up with a concept and create great visuals and copy, then finally execute the final design submission within the NSPCC branding guidelines.
At the 2013 annual Celebration Evening hosted by the Ideas Foundation, I was awarded with the Rising Star award as a young person with a great potential future within the creative industries, alongside my contributions to the Foundation over the past year.
