Hi, I am Yana Chervinska, a fashion designer from Ukraine with a focus on apparel, prints, textiles, footwear and sustainable approach. My works refer to artisanal techniques’ development (handmade knitting, nodular embroidery, felting, recycling textiles, hand dying etc.), redefining a new femininity, experiments with forms and volumes, peculiar colors.
I have a strong background in pattern making, prototyping, designing, and developing for fashion brands. In addition, my own fashion brand was presented at London Fashion Week, Helsinki Fashion Week, Design Block Prague, Paris Fashion Week, Mercedes Fashion Week Tbilisi, and all of my 10 collections were featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Elle, L’Officiel, Dazed, Business of Fashion.
Apart from design skills, I am experienced in styling, set design, and art direction, since I spent 2 last years in marketing. Switching from a product-oriented approach to marketing and back again — that is how I can describe my career path, moreover, it provides me with a differentiated perspective. Now I work as a designer in Camper and lives in Spain. Looking for new opportunities ♥

- Styling and Set Design for Yelizavetta Volosovska fashion campaignDuring my summer vacations in Kyiv I had an opportunity to work with Yelizaveta Volosovska, emerging fashion designer and exceptional talent just after her graduation from Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. We did a bit crazy exaggerated style and set design for the campaign, playing with hairdos and makeup. The girl behind the story is Ukrainian top model Iryna Kravchenko.
- Yana Chervinska collection FW2019It was a relaunch of my own artistic fashion label Yana Chervinska and I created a new collection which included: a knitwear capsule, a special collaboration accessories with Bold Studio Prague, outerwear and other items. This collection was bought by Japanese store Radd Lounge and Copenhagen-based store Melange De Luxe. In this collection I was exploring the ideas of isolation and protection. - Art Direction & Styling for United Nations special project about SDGs18 Ukrainian celebreties joined the UN "Be the change" campaign to promote The Sustainable Development Goals. I was responsible for the idea, creative direction, set design, photo and video production, talent management, PR in national media and implementation. The project was featured in Elle Ukraine magazine and was presented as a photo exhibition during United Nations Day
- Fashion & print design for Poustovit x Intertop collection2019, Poustovit x Intertop, Kyiv, Ukraine. In honor of the 25th anniversary, Ukrainian biggest shoes retailer Intertop released the first affordable clothing line created in collaboration with the legendary Ukrainian designer Lilia Pustovit. This is a manifesto for hiking and the unity of man with nature. - Fashion DNA: British Council x Ukrainian Fashion WeekFashion DNA was a business support programme for 8 selected Kiev-based designers. I was invited by the British Council to lead this intensive market entry programme covering product development, range planning, costing and pricing, supply chain and sales strategy for emerging brands. This week-long programme was part of a bigger project to develop market entry strategies and business plans for the designers.
