Wurtemberg is a studio working at the intersection of art, design and technology to create physical installations, online and tangible experiences, films and interactive experiences. Operating as a hub of talents, we channel specialist skills into the conception and delivery of bespoke pieces. Art direction, engineering, creative technology and product design enable a seamless vision, merging experimentation and state-of-the-art craftsmanship, shying away from predefined frameworks.
Conceptually-driven, we collide a vast array of disciplines to produce work breathing life into a brand vision, bringing wondrous engagement and cultural relevance.
Projects
- DeBeers - Portraits of NatureFor the launch of their Couture 20/21 collection, high-end jewellers DeBeers wanted to enhance their showcase with an immersive element to tell the story behind their ‘Portraits of Nature‘ range. Inspired by the colours, patterns and shapes of 5 different animals, each set is complemented by a respective film experienced through an immersive installation, within set design elements and through a custom-designed app.
- Glass CathedralAudiovisual installation commissioned by Vulcano agency for an event organised in Venice. Located in a restored medieval church in Murano, the work leans on the glass-blowing heritage of the space. Projected on a transparent screen, the visuals float through the space, referencing stained glass and the rosacea found in churches. Stripped from any iconography, the piece is a modernist take on the craft and heritage of the location.
