Throughout my career in PR and Marketing I have grown a host of great media and supplier contacts within a wide range of different areas. In the last year my role has been focusing on devising creative content for brands such as Diageo, Nokia, Microsoft, Drinkaware and Fererro who trust me to pitch creative solutions for new briefs and news-jacking moments. I have liaised with artists to build sculptures around client’s products, written storyboards, treatments and scripts as well as directing videographers and overseen final edits. With Microsoft I am their global communications officer, and implement the PR and social activity toolkits that is received by local markets. Other than work I am a very keen traveller, photographer and jewellery maker – I have my own jewellery business called Goldy Rocks. My biggest life achievement so far is my adventure hitchhiking across the Pacific Ocean on small sailing vessels during October 2011-12. My family recently moved to Dubai to start WOW Media, which I advise on as well.

Cohn & Wolfe Account Manager (June 2014 – Present) Senior Account Executive (October 2013 – June 2014) Account Executive (October 2012 – October 2013) Tavistock Square. www.cohnandwolfe.com My client list includes Microsoft, Nokia, Samsung, Burger King, Drinkaware Charity, SNCF IDBUS and Heinz Within the first month of joining the company I oversaw a huge award-winning campaign with Heinz ‘Get Well Soup’ and Starlight bringing entertainment to children’s hospitals across the UK. I secured coverage within top national press as well as an array of online and regional coverage. My main focus within the team is to generate new content ideas and pitch them to clients. I create storyboards and VO’s for video content and liaise with global suppliers as well as manage them and the budgets. I have also directed photography and video shoots. I help the digital team implement social content and advise the client on how the campaign can work across digital and traditional platforms. My proudest moment at C&W is the Organic Charging project I pitched, managed and implemented for Microsoft. The idea originally inspired me when I spotted artist Caleb Charland’s ‘Back to Light’ work, where he created light exposure images of bulbs being powered by the use of fruit and vegetables. I then pitched the idea to the client for a Lumia charging project, you can see the final result here. The video generated over 100k views with no advertising spend behind it and received an ROI of 12:1.

Maintained over 100 pieces of coverage over the course of two years from international, national, regional and consumer print media including a front-page splash on the Daily Telegraph, double page spreads, and widespread online coverage from blogger outreach and social media. Managing Sky+HD and Sky3D traditional and digital press office, writing photocalls and press releases, creating status reports at the end of the week and updating the client daily with relevant news angles and coverage Launched the Sky3D channel and came up with creative concepts to promote it to new and existing customers Organise creative meetings for up-coming television programmes, where we would discuss potential PR stunts and events to promote the show, such as Kylie Minouge in 3D, Brian May’s History of 3D, Planets in 3D and many more As the Account Executive I was the point of contact for media and therefore managed to maintain a great array of contacts ranging from lifestyle and television to technology Contributed to many sell-in’s to B2B media for Sky and Little Chef’s performance figures Received global media coverage for Visit London and West End Marketing Alliance for picture stunts and news angles to persuade visitors to come to London during the Royal Wedding. Work that I am most proud of is generating international coverage for West End Partnership, ‘Get Lost in the West End’ campaign. We appeared in all UK national newspapers and TV stations as well as international press such as Chinese CCTV, Russian One, CNN and many more. All the media hype resulted in my team achieving a Bronze Cannes Lion award in the innovative media category.
River Island Press Office – (Internship 01 Feb – 01 March 10) For a month I joined River Island PR during their Spring/Summer collection 2010. Helped with a fashion show in their office. Fashion editors from consumer magazines such as Company, Grazia and Sunday Times Style attended. Organise the outfits and dressed the models with the stylist. Other priorities were to organise the fashion floor, deal with requests from stylists and call back samples as well as check for coverage.
