About me
THE IDVIDL (pronounced Individual) is an interdisciplinary Art and Design practice that focuses on the importance of the relationship with self. This importance is typically explored through immersive installations, public workshops and illustration. Owner Yetunde Hannah, is an independent interdisciplinary artist and designer based in London/Kent UK whose work heightens the importance around identity and wellbeing. She has a strong passion in understanding and celebrating individuals. Her aim is to create moments through her work that break away from our everyday routines, pressures, responsibilities, a moment where we are re engaging our thinking, effort, energy and time into ourself, our importance, potential and beauty.

  • PLAYHOUSE
PLAYHOUSEI studied BA Hons Interior and Spatial Design, graduated in 2018. Here is a mini sample portfolio of my final major project, highlighting the main components. This project looked at celebrating individuals, allowing them to create, illuminate, and simply be in a space. Not conforming to a static environment, being able to walk in to space and have that space celebrating your presence. It looked at the exciting possibility of future technology for art and design and what freedom of control this c
  • SELF ILLUSTRATION SERIES x SELF THROUGH ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOP
SELF ILLUSTRATION SERIES x SELF THROUGH ILLUSTRATION WORKSHOPI held an exhibition of my recent illustration series and a one to one workshop sharing how I created the illustrations. I exhibited 18 pieces printed on paper and acrylic. The illustration series looked at the make up of the face and its features in an abstract and actual representation using photography and Abode Illustrator. The illustrations played with a bright bold colour palette, opacity, layering, duplication, definition and thickness. The overall aim of the event was to create a day w
  • CINEMATIC WORKSHOP: UNDERSTANDING SELF
CINEMATIC WORKSHOP: UNDERSTANDING SELFI held a cinematic workshop that looked at a series of short one to one discussions around the topic of understanding self through familiarisation of personality, journey and art. I created an evening of conversation, sharing and understanding. Where collectively we can watch the discussions and share ideas, though, experiences and advice on topics raised. Topics ranged from what is your art, growing as an individual, understanding self, how to merge home culture and social culture, next steps a
  • PUSH YOUR PASSION WORKSHOP
PUSH YOUR PASSION WORKSHOPI held a workshop centred around the topic of how to push our passion to its full potential, whether that be a successful full time career or thriving side hustle or hobby. This was not a space with a full proof plan, it was a space where as a group we could discuss experiences, obstacles, queries, advice, help and support. Creating a space for inspiration and help for one another.

any segment magazine issue 01 previewDuring a time where recognition for artists is becoming harder and harder, even when the market is saturated with such talented people, I decided to create a side project in order to give people wider recognition and deserving publicity associated with their fabulous work, a project that included a celebration of the modern art world and all the perceivable delights that come with it. It was also started in support of charity, for those who may be suffering the most at this moment. In the first
