About me

A seasoned Digital Marketer and Bilingual (English/Arabic) SEO and Google Ads Consultant 20+ years of work experience including multiple career changes. I started my career having very little confidence in my skills and abilities as an engineer and found myself doing a job as a technician for medical equipment. I got a call from a friend of mine who works for a businessperson who runs multiple businesses. He was looking for an engineer for his medical equipment company. I had no idea how medical equipment functioned, but I felt I could learn, especially that this job was recommended by a friend. Three years later, I left the job, and pursued a master's degree in HR. Having a bachelors in engineering, and 3 years of work experience in biomedical engineering, I was approached again by the same business owner i worked for but this time his friend is looking for an engineer who wants to work in HR. Two years later I left this job and found out that I am a good trainer, so I started a part-time job as an HR trainer. Shortly after I was approached by a consulting firm looking for an HR consultant, I left this job after 1 year. During that time, social media was gaining popularity among businesses and I used to spend most of my day on facebook. A friend of mine called me saying our agency is looking for a social media pro. I was nothing close to a pro in social media, but I accepted the job and worked at an agency handling a brand on social media for 4 years. At the age of 34, I felt I gained experience in different industries, but I fell in love with marketing after my agency experience, so I decided to run my own digital marketing consultancy. I did that happily for 5 years. Three years ago, we suffered a huge financial crisis back home and took a random flight to London to continue my business from there. Running out of money rapidly, I had to go back to a full-time job and luckily it was in an agency. So, I stayed in digital marketing but pivoted into SEO and Paid Search.
