I'm a visual designer at heart, and would go the extra mile to produce designs of the highest quality. My creativity took me to many places, such as illustration, graphic design, print layout, branding and digital product design. I really enjoy solving problems and believe that great products come from a collaborative team. With 4 years of experience as a well-rounded designer, now specialise in UI, UX, visual and user-centric product design as well as branding, marketing campaigns and print layouts. Currently a Digital Designer at REVL, working on their events apps (iOS & react native) and the website as well as building their brand. Previously worked on an award-winning teacher’s mobile app as a UX design lead, responsible for mapping the user on-boarding journey, creating wireframes and A/B tests. Spent 2 years as the lead UI/Visual designer at Arbor, in an agile team environment I worked alongside front end developers & UX designer to build the design system and UI Style Guide for a complex B2B software. I am used to taking ownership of my work and able to work across a wide range of design areas, from building a digital product, mobile apps, websites, marketing campaign through to print, layout and branding. REVL is the UK's most comprehensive what's on platform. Working with thousands of entertainment brands and venues. The product is B2B2C, with the ability to personalise over 180k events in the app. My responsibilities are split between the digital product design and marketing campaigns, primarily in charge of the development of the brand as well as the UX/UI of the web and the mobile app (iOS & react native).
Hired as an UX consultant to improve the on-boarding journey for an award-winning consumer app for teachers. The challenge was to guide users through the key tasks without the help of the customer team. Greatly increased the success rate through the use of tooltips & intro slides.
Worked over 2 years as the lead in-house designer at Arbor, which is a London-based EdTech start up. I was in charge of the look and feel of the brand and made sure the consistency was kept within all products. My role ranged across the design of the enterprise software, mobile app & stylesheet, building a design system & UI rulebooks, dashboard for data analysis, through to marketing and website. Experienced in mapping user journeys, wireframes, user testing, UX, UI style guide, and designing components (atomic design).
Worked primarily as a digital designer at a small London brand communication agency. In charge of the design for all responsive websites from concepts to wireframes through to the delivery of final artworks, which involved photo-touching and image-making. Also worked on branding, packaging, infographics and print layouts.
Joined as an intern at UK’s leading digital marketing agency, through which I had the chance to assist on multiple live briefs with clients such as BBC, Prudential, Cable & Wireless Communication and Network Rail. The work was varied; it ranged from typesetting, corporate reports, layouts, branding through to digital marketing and website design.
Started as a design intern at this non-profit organisation, and was soon hired as a freelance. Spent 2 years producing their bi-monthly event brochures and marketing materials for campaigns and exhibitions. Through Asia House I also collaborated with Heathrow Airport, The British Council, Festival of Asian Literature, The Asian Word, Taipei Representative Office U.K. on producing numerous print publications.
