I have recently completed my contract as head of digital content for www.pilotguides.com, a heavily travel-focused website, I was responsible for the online workflow for Globe Trekker, the longest running travel show in TV as well as Planet Food, World Café Asia, World Café Middle East and Treks in a Wild World amongst other food, lifestyle and shopping programmes. The shows attract over 30 million viewers worldwide, are broadcast in over 40 countries and have an online footfall of over 60,000 visitors a month. My biggest achievement during my tenure at Pilot has been project managing the re-brand and re-design of the Pilotguides website from http://pilotguides-archives.com/ to the newly designed www.pilotguides.com. I was responsible for a team of developers, determining content, functionality, wireframes and design including the revised architecture, new CMS templates, improved browsing and an overhaul of the 3,000+ pages in the travel database.
