Anyone know of any good green outdoor locations to shoot in London? (Without a permit?) Shoot on 4th March if you’d like to get involved!

  • Aim for a park as it's too early in Spring for much greenery elsewhere. In and around the Japanese & Rose gardens in Regent's Park will give you lush greenery, water, bridges & seclusion etc and the cafe nearby for toliets, food & shelter. The forecast suggests a cold start but will get cloudier from mid morning with rain after lunch. Good luck.
  • The pergola at hampstead heath is beautiful and as far as I know no permit needed as I have friends who have done shoots there :)
  • It depends on the concept of the shoot but I would say around the Richmond area you have some many green areas that should be able to answer most briefs. You have Richmond Park, the entire are along the Thames and the local common area near the station. As far as I know you don’t need a permit and have plenty of areas to scope some interesting shots.

    Take care and good luck!

  • Wimbledon Common (within which there is a Canizaro Park with romantic architectural elements and a rose alley and some floral trees and lake), Hampstead Heath (beautiful pergola inside), Richmond Park (for low key shoots)... all three are mostly wild nature park but with little residential features..hope it helps x
  • Hi Erika,

I know Primrose hill in Camden is a great place for lovely green space & I’m pretty sure you don’t need a permit.

I’ve had a look at the mood board you attached, I’m really interested and would love to get involved and know more details!
