Can anyone suggest a good theme for a DJ night in April?

On April 8th Bad Cop Worse Cop (the dj duo i'm part of with my mate) are hosting another night at the Prince of Peckham and we’re trying to come up with a theme. We did a Halloween night there last year called Stranger Tings which really worked for the 80s Bad Cop Worse Cop style, the general spookiness of Halloween and the Afro-Caribbean vibe of the venue. Plus having a good theme helps us encourage fancy dress (which we’re big fans of!).
Any ideas?

  • @Hugh Waldren I would say so, my dude! Imagine that: an entire audience of raptors! It'd be joke, maybe a bit of a bad spin for those parcial to party prescriptions however :')
  • ha @Ro Murray i can picture that... last time we had a project running on the main wall the whole night playing 80s exercise videos.... but i could definitely see is switching that to various bunny vids.
  • Was thinking mash up of Glen close in Fatal Attraction and Chandler [Friends] as pink rabbit / easter bunny

Also - kinda dark - butcame across this.. https://www.shutterstock.com/video/clip-27606964-melting-chocolate-easter-bunny .
  • @Ro Murray that could be intersting... just thinking about how to explore the theme more. (Trying to lean away from savage controversy)
  • Hmmm ok just looking at what's on that month... we have:
    - April fools day is on 1st
    - Easter
    - IBS awareness month
    - Stress awareness month (UK)
    - Jazz appreciation month (USA)
    - National pet month (UK)
    - Walk to work day is on 3rd
    - National chocolate mousse day is on 3rd (USA)
    - 404 day is on 4th April (USA)
    - International pillow fight day on 6th
    - Community garden week on 6th
    - World health day on 7th
    - National siblings day on 10th
    - National grilled cheese sandwhich day on 12th (USA)

And those only a handful i managed to google and find in a 'awareness days calendar'.

(Pillow fight day is pretty close!?!)
