Design V Art. They say Art brings attention to a problem and Design solves a problem. What do you think?

- Defining cretativity is a highway to hell and in my opinion missing the point. Pidgeon holing or nailing don't a distinct meaning comes from other necessity to rationalise and understand. The blurred lines betweeen art & design make life worth living. Reference the work of the very brilliant JamesPlumb Studio to see waht i mean.
- @Abigail Baldwin I agree with you on the artwork, certain artwork pieces hold more value and exclusivity.
- I think, by this rational, the question is art and the answer is design.
- Hi Dean, that's an interesting way to think about it! I would also say design can be easily replicated many times — it's commercial. Whereas art is often a one-off piece. That's why an artwork can sometimes command ££££! It's seen as rare.
- There's definitely an element to providing solutions in Design that Art lacks. As a creative who treads the lines of both I find it really interesting!
