For all those recruitment managers out there. Unsolicited CVs being sent asking for work -- a show of initiative or vexing inbox filler?

  • Good question Matt! In my experience it depends on the recruiter. Some companies simply don't accept unsolicited CVs anymore due to GDPR or other company policies, but reaching out to the right recruiter/ hiring manager (the one's recruiting for a role you're interested in or recruiting for your specific area) and asking if you could send your CV to them or connect regarding a specific role, may get you better results.
