For those who immigrated: Do you still feel attached to your native country? If your passport is expired: do you threw it or still keeping?
This is part of a small research project.

- Bit different from others I guess: I keep both passports updated for travelling reasons but sometimes because of that I have a bit of an inner identity crisis with myself haha
- Yes, still attached and have a valid passport after many, many years!
- Not feeling very attached anymore and no, I had to give it up when I changed passports. Not sure if both are correlated however.
- I still do feel attached and my looks define exactly where I come from or my heritage. I left then home, Lagos age16 and have been travelling but settled here in London UK. I am not very attached but as of late of thinking to do/participate with opportunities. Rarely visit and I still have my expired passport.
- Yes, I do (though “attached” would need more defining in this case) & I keep it (I like my old passport pictures;).
- My family immigrated from Pakistan to the US, although now I live in the UK. I do still feel attached to Pakistan and visit once a year. I still have my expired passport. Hope this helps!
