Has anyone here done work for German clients? Any idea what needs to be on the invoice (UK business invoicing a German company)?
My client needs some sort of tax information saying that they are not liable for tax...

- I don't know if it applies in the UK. I live in Spain and when I invoice companies from another european country they need to have your European VAT number, which they can check to be valid on a website made for that purpose (VIES VAT number validation). That is how they will know they aren't liable. I'm not sure if it's the same with the UK but I would guess so.
- Hey Ina,It's the same as when you invoice anywhere in EU. You need to put your UTR number on the invoice and VAT number if you're eligible to VAT. Invoice in £.
