Has anyone set any creative resolutions for 2021?
Interested to hear whether you're hoping to learn a new skill or try something new this year.

- Share more of my own creative work! I generally spend more time shouting about my clients' projects and my own get left behind. How about you?
- @Benedict Cosgrove This is a good one, its definitely best to get it down initially, rather than mid flow. I have been creating a squarespace portfolio and have been trying to stop editing mid creation and with writing too! :)
- @Nemo Roberts I feel you on that one!
- @Benedict Cosgrove That's a great idea. I think we are often overly critical of ourselves, especially in the heat of creation, and a bit of distance might be helpful in offering some clarity around what needs to happen next, whether that's editing or something else.
- @Fabrizio Bagnoli Good luck with them - looking forward to seeing it before too long!
- trying to work on the couple of projects that were on hold due to social distancing in 2020!
- Hi, Indira. I haven't set any resolutions in terms of how much I'll produce, or how often I'll work, or how many hours a day I'll set aside for personal projects. Instead, I've resolved to stop editing myself so often "in the moment" -- i.e., to stop messing with my work while I'm creating/writing. I tend to spend an inordinate amount of time editing myself while working, and not enough time simply getting things down on paper (or onscreen) and trusting that I can return later while wearing my editor's hat, and make it better, sharper, tighter, etc.Good luck to any and all resolution-makers!
- Less input, more output for me ...but it's tough! :-)
