Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone could suggest online tutorials/courses that you came across to up-skill in After Effects? Thank you

If you want to follow along and have feedback from a tutor I’d sign up with them. Think they do a boot camp version over 10 weeks and smaller classes also.

Andrew Kramer AKA https://www.videocopilot.net is great to learn everything from VFX to title animation techniques.

YouTube is full of other great resources.

    Hope these help!
  • There's a template training series here that's worth a look. No prior knowledge is needed, so more about adapting the templates provided rather than learning from the ground up.

  • Hi Greta. Check out Angie Taylor (my first teacher) She works in the industry, is on Lynda.com and has a book, too. I did a course with Academy Class, too, which was good. They have a 50% offer on at the mo. https://www.academyclass.com/courses-category/adobe/ Some of the unis, in London, are doing online courses, like https://www.arts.ac.uk and Udemy.com might be worth a look. Good luck!
  • Hi Greta, great question. Usually when myself or someone in my team need to create something in AE they have found the best resource is usually YouTube. You can literally find anything on there. One particular person who has some good tutorials is Gareth David Studio. He has lots of short cuts and simple ways to create effects. Hope this helps.
  • Sure I've seen some on www.skillshare.com and think they're offering some free classes if you sign up at the moment!
