Hi advice for a newbie trying break into her career! What do you think is the best way to network and just expand outside your comfort zone?

- You're in the right place! Keep networking here, on The Dots. I also recommend LinkedIn to reach further than the creative industries. Networking face-to-face can have the greatest success rate (in my experience). Can you begin arranging coffee dates, and take it from there? Always have an "ask" ready when you network — what are you looking for? x
- Find communities online in the field you're interested in (search for key words - and hashtags, if you know them) and join conversations - you'll make connections along the way

- Attended events that is in the field you're interested in, the dots have loads of great events. Also talks are great events to attend,l. If you're in London check out Ustwo.
