  • @Clarisse Fonseca Hi, The images you coulns't open are gifs, needs a bit of time to open (I'm working to fix it) Thanks for feedback!
  • Hi! First of all, I love the animation on the opening page shows character and it gives a sneak pic of your work. The menu is clear and well-devised. I don't know if it's from my internet but I couldn't open the images of your work (maybe you still working on it). I would also say on the page about put the CV there as well.

    Hope it helped.
  • Hi!

    It’s super creative and elegant - I really like the layout!

    As a copywriter, there’s limited text for me to comment on, but I’m interested in your “About” page.

    I think there is a lovely opportunity there to really sell yourself. Would you like me to send you a few ideas and tips?

  • Hi Miriam, hope you are well!

    Clean and simple, good job. A few suggestions:

    1. For SEO purposes - the Page Title (browser Tab) change from eeiv to your name and art e.g. Mariam - Illustrator / Graphic Designer, eeiv - Illustrator / Graphic Designer. Can alt text be added to the images in this template?

    2. Maybe if you can, group the menu into sections, having drop down sub menus, so it is not too long. e.g.

    A = Stories, People, Drama
    B = Night, Boredom, Maze, Ads
    About
    Resume

    I think the general advice, is up to 6 from my research on the years but I maybe wrong.

    3. Resume (open in a new tab or window) - in the work experience section, start with your most recent job work. e.g. 2020 > 2015 not 2015 > 2020 ;)

    Any further advice, keep us informed. In the meantime, keep safe and continue the great work!
  • Great idea. The concept is not bad, but you want to read up and work on the view. There's something called view port - it will help you get rid of that unnecessary right-scroll. I can see this project looking like "a million pounds after afew adjustments".
  • Hey, depends on what advice I suppose - if it's advice on how to build a website I'd choose a simple platform like Wix which is easy to edit for a first timer and has lots of templates... If it's advice about content then I would say be yourself and don't try to copy anyone else... Try and showcase your work in a simple user friendly style, use images more than text if you're showcasing graphics work and include testimonials of anyone you've worked with already. Remember to link to Google to improve SEO. Feel free to have a look at my website signpost media.co.uk for more tips. Good luck!
