Hi! I'm working on a publication looking at food systems/eating post-COVID. After views on how people's relationship to food has changed?

I'm working on a digital publication bringing the perspectives of different participants in our food systems into dialogue, to explore the changing relationships between the way we eat and use our time in a post COVID world.
We're thinking about how the repercussions of this across the food industry - the restaurants, chefs, suppliers, grocers, growers and shippers - relate to how we shop, eat and cook, and how this is integral to whatever new normal we end up building post-quarantine.
We've put together a survey and at this stage, we're really looking to gauge how people's food buying habits, their relationship to food and the time they spend cooking is changing post lockdown.
We'd really appreciate you taking the time to fill this out, and if you think it's interesting, sharing it!
Alongside this, we're also putting out feelers for potential contributors: if you're interested in food (from whatever angle) and are a writer, illustrator, animator, photographer, videomaker, designer, etc. - we'd love to connect!
There's space at the end of the survey to add details, links and a summary of your interest, or you can message me on here.

  • Hi , hope you are well

my artwork is based upon food politics obviously something thats very contentious right now. The artwork varies from sculpture , to print and digital mediums. I have a bank of meat photography which I can link you to via my website. Ive also written an article upon food politics and its relationship to the artist , obviously contemporary with the times and implications of the pandemic. I would love to be involved and contribute in anyway. Ive completed the survey also
    Thanks so much
    best wishes

  • Sounds really interesting - I've just done the survey and added my portfolio, would love to contribute as an illustrator!
  • I'm a writer and I can provide you with the perspective of how eating disorder sufferers have been affected by COVID. I am the president of my university's Beat society (we're the on-campus representatives for the UK's no.1 eating disorder charity) so I have a lot of insight on that side of things. I understand that might not be the direction you're going in but if you're interested just drop me a message!
