Hi there! Does anyone have any top tips for growing a freelance graphic design network?

I'd love to hear any advice or anything that has worked well (or not so well) for you!

  • @Nathan Day Thanks so much Nathan, really good advice! I've found that even just making this post on The Dots has increased my network so definitely going to try and involve myself a bit more over here.
  • Hi Emma,

In my own personal experience I've found the best ways to grow a network are getting involved in any oppurtunites posted by other creatives on the Dots, there's a lot to utilize here!

Other than that I've found that posting and getting involved in the Graphic Design circle on instagram is lovely and close knit, where there is plenty of opporunity to network. Feel free to hit me up there @studio.ramedays!

Then there is also Working Not Working which is really great, then things like going to arts spaces, coffee shops etc in your local town/city to meet people in your area and find new work/connections. I've also found bars can be a great place to find leads/collaborators when chatting with people you've not met before about your work.

    Hope some of this helps.

    Nath :)
