How does one defeat the ATS system? Or human recruiters candidates can actually reach in person?
How does one defeat the ATS system as I feel most of the jobs I have applied for did not reach any human recruiters but a cold robot? This is after tailoring each CV everytime I applied to a different job. I was rejected for proofreading job when I have many years of experience with Fortune 500 companies doing their copywriting and creating marketing content.
I have transcribed live broadcast of the Oscars and BBC Special. I have also done editing and proofreading for academic publications and journal submissions.
However, I noticed this is particularly severe in the UK job market with these ATS systems. As most of the time I would only get a job interview or a human response when I email my application directly to a recruiter or the manager. Anyone with any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated.

- @Vikki Ross Thanks Vikki. Much appreciated and helpful advice.
- Hi C S,I'd try beating the system. When you see a job ad, do your research to work out who is hiring and how you can contact them directly with a more personal and creative approach.Best of luck,Vikki
