  • Hi Aaron,

Set up job alerts on LinkedIn and follow any companies you're interested in on here. Also look up job postings here - The Dots usually post something new every day. And follow #copywritersunite on Twitter - people often share jobs there.

    Best of luck,

    Vikki
  • @Gabe Madari Thanks a bunch dude. I'll take that on. I'm looking to develop copywriting experience in the broadest sense possible, before potentially moving into a more creative specialism. Theatre, TV and Film is my main jam - but we all know that doesn't always bring the home the bacon. Appreciate the advice!
  • Hi Aaron! In my opinion if you want to reach out to a company or any opportunity you will need a nice presentation of your relevant previous work - it might be a PDF or a simple one page webpage with your basic info and work you have done before. This approach always helped me to get opportunites.
Another tip I think every creative can use - if you do not have an experience in a given field just create a "conceptual project" in your portfolio. For example if you want to write a copy for a car brand just come up with something creative in your portfolio and tag it as a coceptual project for the car industry. This would build an edge for you even if you do not have an experience in that given industry :)
