I’m looking for a space in London to hold an exhibition of art - ‘picture book illustration’ . Cafe/bookshop/other location considered.

- I'd say the Brixton Tate Library, which is next to the Picturehouse.My friend held a two week exhibition there.She got a lot of footfall in general, but also a lot of passing trade and interest. While she used both the walls and ground for display, she also had a mini shop for sales (happy to share pictures).The business end;For the use of the gallery to display art work for sale, a percentage of any sales is payable to the Brixton Library.There is no licensed bar, there are toilets including baby change facilities are located on the Ground floor.Contact the team for more information at brixtonlendinglibrary@lambeth.gov.uk

- Maybe try Barbican Library - I think they have space for small exhibitions.
