I'm looking for opinions on how music shapes your creativity!
Hi! I've been working on a personal illustration project 'Doodle Tune', and I'm searching for more opinions on how music shapes our creativity.
TO GET INVOLVED:
- Suggest your favourite album (and I'll doodle along to it)
- Answer the question - 'How does music shape your creative process?'
Or complete this short survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FPRGZMQ
Check out all the albums I've doodled along to so far on my Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/doodle.tune/
I hope you like what you see and I can't wait to collaborate!

- Miles DavisAscenseur pour l'échafaud(one of many favourite albums and definitley worth doodling to!)Great idea for a project - I love it : )
- @Michael Piggott Absoloutely, that's been one of the most intresting aspects that I've discovered so far. Lyrics have such a big impact when we're leanring or creating! And thank you for the album request, much appreciated!
- @Harriet Anstruther Amazing! Thanks for taking the time to fill in the survey, a great insight into what that song means to you :) Looking forward to see how it shapes what I create!
- I remember learning (probably at uni) that our brains work best, in terms of learning, when the music has no words. Classical music is often recommended. Although recently I've found some great 'playlists for concentration' and things like that on Spotify. Despite my advice to not go for words, Heligoland by Massive Attack is often an album I like to turn to.
- Brilliant idea and one i remmber doing at art school listening to Billie Holliday. I've answered your online survey with deets about the little heard instremental version of Jimi Hendrix's Bold As Love. Epic.
- @Craig Norwood Thank you! Looking forward to showcasing your album and insights :)
