I'm putting on an online festival about disabilities and was wondering if anyone can put me incontact with black disabled graphic designers?
I'm a recent grad of Black Girl Fest Academy and I will be running Distorted Fest, an online multimedia festival aimed at challenging misconceptions surrounding disabilities within the black community. I am looking to connect with disabled creatives, professionals and activists who would want to be involved.
In terms of graphic design, I'm looking to find a black disabled graphic designer to create a brand identity for Distorted Fest similar to the image found on my profile ( I will provide more information!)
I would love to hear your suggestions!
Thanks

- Disabled, Regenerative Entrepreneur | Anti-Ableism & Disability Justice | Adventurer & Continual WIPThanks for the shoutout, @Pip Jamieson! Yes, @Jessica Ryan-Ndegwa is awesome. I'd love to support this amazing project, @Audrey Owusu-Frempong; my email is sulaiman.khan@thisability.net and get in touch if you would like my help. Though as I am keen not to take up space either as well (as I am not a Black disabled womxn), I’d suggest talking to the incredible The Triple Cripples and my extraordinary friend Matilda Ibini. Chat soon.
- Hi @Audrey Owusu-Frempong , feel free to email me on info.designfordisability@gmail.com:)
- @Jessica Ryan-Ndegwa is amazing :-) Oh and the incredible @Sulaiman Khan should have some brilliant top tips too :-)
- Hi Audrey, this is a great question I wish I knew the answer to. There is an illustrator I follow on the socials called Nikki Groom otherwise known as Miss Magpie Spy. I seem to think she would know the answer to this - if you don't have any luck on here maybe drop her a message or I would be happy to intro you.Good luck, sounds like a great festival idea.
