is it just me or is the industry down?
its been a slow 14 months for photography, and i’m wondering if this is just my experience? from being very booked and traveling for work to crickets for months on end 🥲

- Yeap! Same here... Ive been offered to shoot a lookbook for £40. Dont even understand wheter I shoudl laugh or cry.

- Same as Emily and Kid say. Budgets are so much tighter still, with some being scrapped entirely. Regular clients I had last year who said I’d have 2024 work have had their budgets slashed so nothing for me yet. Everyones hoping it will improve with the new tax year!
- It's always quiet this time of year. May, June, July, September, October are really busy. I send 3000 mails a year to new clients look at LinkedIn. I've never really got a job on insta.
- YEahhh. It seems to be very slow at the moment. Like @Emily-Jayne Nolan I've had similar meetings, or been put up for projects that eventually got canned :-(Fingers crossed for everyone. Let's HANG ON IN THERE x
- Not just you. It's been crickets lately for me as well.
- Feeling the same!! Everything seems very up in the air. It's a scary time, I feel like the only photography Im doing at the moment, is events!? Every meeting I've had, clients are saying that budgets are being cut. I thought this year would be better but now I'm getting anxious.You're not alone don't worry!! <3 Hopefully it will pick up soon x
