Looking for women photographers, writers, illustrators and sports-doers for The Movement Movement Magazine Issue 01
The Movement Movement is an independent print magazine for all women and non-binary people to celebrate movement in all its forms, from professional sport to whatever ways we move in our everyday lives.
The project marks a change to the male-oriented, male-organised and perfectionism-heavy narrative around sport and gives women the platform to tell our own stories on movement - whatever it means to us.
Earlier this year, we released our Issue 00 – The Starting Line, which is now on sale online and in stores across the globe.

We are now accepting pitches/ideas/chats for Issue 01, Continuing, a celebration of moving forwards in all its forms, on whatever path.
Stories can be as closely attached to this theme as you like and cover anything from scubadiving to sex, marathon running to meandering to the shop. Crucially, we want to not only have a conversation where all sports are considered, but one that stretches beyond that put value in all the good ways we move.
In terms of style, we're looking for anything from from thought pieces, interviews and editorial stories to illustration/art pieces and photographer spotlights.
