No question and doesn’t affect anyone on here but thought I’d share my epic news….
….yesterday I had my first EVER interview as a DESIGNER! I was clutching my first portfolio (print and digital!) and was in with a chance of getting my first job since retraining and pursuing my dreams at the ripe old age of 43!
100 people applied and I was one of just 5 people to be invited to interview! 😁🎉🤪
Today I was told I didn’t get the job this time BUT I still can’t stop smiling because I could have got the job (and it was an amazing one)! And that is enough right now!
Sorry, this is probably of no interest to anyone but thought this was a good platform to share where many of you might understand the elevation of this soppy mare! 😁

- That's a great way to keep motivated! I try to do the same (and this served as a good reminder to continue!), it can be such a competitive industry but I think persistence can really pay off. Good luck in your search! =)
