  • @Mariano Pagella also on iPhone/iPad:

    • Go to Settings > Control Centre > Customise Controls, then tap next to Screen Recording.
    • Swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen. On iPhone X or later or iPad with iOS 12 or later, or iPadOS, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen.
    • Press deeply on grey record icon and tap Microphone.
    • Tap Start Recording, then wait for the three-second countdown.
    • Open Control Centre and tap red record icon. Or tap the red status bar at the top of your screen and tap Stop.
    • Go to the Photos app and select your screen recording.
  • Really easy: start a zoom session by yourself, screen share your desctop and record the session, it will automatically save at the end of the session and you can edin the begining/end afterwards.. I use it for my masterclasses, workes perfectly with great quality and you can also choose to have a frame with yourself in there as well or just the screen: in this case you'd have to turn off camera and just allow screen share :)
  • Hi Jules, on macOS Catalina 10.15.5 you can do it directly pressing command + Shift + 5, and changing the settings on the panel (capture entire screen, selected window, selected portion, >record screen, record selected portion<
    Cheers
