Self-branding advice
Hi folks! I'm struggling with identifying the niche and style for self-branding on social media. It's been a huge challenge for me lately... I look at others' works on IG, FB, Pinterest, and get inspiration from Behance as well, but there are so many ideas and styles I feel inspired about and, at the same time, lost.
I've rebranded twice, and all the time, I feel that what I make isn't enough. Does anyone have the same? How did you solve this issue?

- Most visual identities breakdown into; logo, typeface, colour palette, graphic elements, imagery and tone of voice. These are informed by strategy.Fitting in with what others are doing whilst trying to stand out may be over challenging.Perhaps work to your strengths and start with three:Tone of voice - what do you stand for?Typeface - find a face that fitsColour palette - look at brands you align with and see what they use
- @Valerie Stupnikova okay love it!So I would offer that you want to be in the mindset of: being of service - that will take you out of self doubt.Focus on seeing your social media as a vehicle for practicing how you best create value ahead of time for people you want to be useful to. What do they need?Notice how: you doubting yourself doesn’t help them at all! There are people out there who want what you have to offer. They can’t experience it if you are spending your time trying to be perfect instead of giving freely of your craft. At the same time - direct your mind to all the evidence it has for why your work (and you!) are enough ❤️
- @Louisa // SOLA whoa, yes, it does resonate! I want to deliver smth useful and beautiful, catchy, at the same time.
- Hi Valerie,Offering my coaching perspective:In your post you share a thought that "What I make isn't enough". Which is a belief that many of us have to work through...A belief is just a thought that you've thought a lot. Social conitioning, inposter syndrome, living in a world of hierarchies and competition can all contribute to this...I would offer that how this is showing up for you is that you are comparing yourself to others. And doubting your own branding decisions. And so changing your branding is an attempt to try to get rid of the feeling of 'not enough'.When it's the belief itself that needs to be challenged.Does this resonate? If so, I have follow up questions...I'm also curious: what is a specific goal you are looking to acheive with your branding?
