Squarespace Integrated Booking System on website

Hi everyone, I wanted to get some advice on how to add a hotel and restaurant booking form into a Squarespace site but by the looks of it, it will need to be coded in.

I would appreciate any advice to help me out with this or if you recommend using any other website building platform that will be easier to integrate these two in.

  • @Shivali Patel It's hard to say not knowing your skills or experience but it sounds like you need something that it almost off-the-shelf requiring only some configuration. You could think aboiut WordPress with a fraemwork builder like Elementor. Youc an also buy themes fairly cheaply that will have most of what you want.

The good thing about WordPress is that it is ubiquitous - loads of themes, frameworks, support, developers etc if you get stuck - as well a forums etc.

You will have to do some homework though if you are doing it your self.
  • @Shivali Patel have you looked at this https://www.squarespace.com/scheduling
I don't use squarespace becuase of this reason. It is good for small visual businesses, creatives and artists but does not scale very well.

What research have you done into other platforms?
  • @Daniel Hawley-Lingham It says that it should be coded in using a code block however my coding knowledge isn't great. Alternatively it said to add in a 'button' and link it to an external page, however I need to embed it into the website so the users can start their journey through the website before being redirected to a third party site.
