Launched in 2020, Jim Grover is running this very successful workshop for the third time.
Join Jim Grover for this inspiring introduction to documentary photography. This workshop will help you to start creating photo essays in the documentary style by equipping you with the practical skills and knowledge required.
This insightful webinar-based workshop series will take place over the course of 5 mornings over 4 weeks where Jim will share his expert knowledge in documentary photography by introducing you to a wide range of photo essays and the expert photographers that created them. Following this you will be guided through the process of creating a photo essay of your own. You will also learn the skill of editing and sequencing by practically editing and sequencing the work of another participant into a cohesive image-based story.
The workshop has been designed to be delivered via Zoom, and works very well in that format. Participants receive full recordings of the Zoom calls and all of the presentation materials used by Jim.
